Celebrate Tango Week July 14th-20th, 2008
2nd USA Tango CHAMPIONSHIP

Celebrate Tango is proud to host the 2nd U.S.Tango Championship. A winning couple will be selected from each category: Social Tango (Salón) and Stage Tango (Escenario). Each couple will be awarded a grand csh prize.
The championship will be held during the Celebrate Tango Week NYC 2008 which includes free city-wide classes, film programs, tango history lectures, a program of classes for everyone from complete beginners to advanced, the famous Friday Black & White Ball and the grand finale Sunday Soiree Milonga.
Salon Qualifying Rounds

All Salon Contestants will dance at the sametime to 3 different songs. Judges will choose minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 for the semi-finals.

Salon Finals &Stage Semi-Finals
Wednesday July 16th

Stage Semi-Finals, each couple will do their choreography and a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 couples will be chosen by the Judges for the Finals. Salon Finalists will dance together and Judges will pick the winning couple to go to Buenos Aires for the Vl Campeonata Mundial de Tango.
